Sweet Lifelong Friends

We will soon have the opportunity to share a meal with two couples that my husband and I haven’t seen for almost twenty years.  What makes this get-together special?  Our shared time will be with faithful followers of Christ.  Talking and laughing with women and men who have not wavered in their faith is a treasured experience.  Life does not exempt believers from difficulties and trials.  All six of us have faced cloudy days.  But it is a beautiful thing to witness our sisters and brothers in the Lord stand strong year after year.  Our hearts will surely be filled to overflowing with a deep joy.  Sweet fellowship…I can’t wait.
