Tasty Christmas Cinnamon Nuts
3 cups almond, walnut, peanut or pecan nuts
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
In a 12" skillet on medium heat, mix all ingredients together. Cook, stirring continually, until syrup caramelizes (about 12 to 15 minutes). Bottom of the pan will appear dry. Scrape pan with a wooden spoon and stir until all liquid is gone.
Then spread the coated nuts onto a tin foil-lined large cookie sheet to cool for a few minutes. Store in an airtight container. Wonderful gift for Christmas treats.
