young, old and older eyes
all are focused on me - at one time or another
by what am I defined?
my faith certainly should be defining me
is it?
I take these moments
to remind myself
it’s not my past that defines me
‘now’, ‘today’, and ‘tomorrow' does!
eyes will be upon me
family, friends, new acquaintances
watching for clues
“how does she live?”
“is she walking like the Lord she professes?”
Your word must inform me
my words must reflect Your love,
grace, mercy and fruit
