we are not alone

evening arrives

a sigh involuntarily escapes…

again today I sense loneliness

I took my stand

Your character, my God,

is so obvious throughout the Word

why, oh why, is the majority

not hearing

not recognizing

not responding to Your message

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”  I Corinthians 2: 14

yes, comfort sets in at sunset

I am not alone

my sisters and brothers in Your Way

stand shoulder to shoulder

united in Your Spirit

praying and believing

seeking and responding

my trust will stand firmly

in you, Father God,

 

please close my eyes this night in

confidence and comfort
