There are few feelings better than walking through the door of your home and sensing comfort, warmth and respect. Tasks and pressures of the previous hours grow dim. "I am home now," you whisper to yourself. The cares of the world temporarily subdued by the welcoming words and smiles within the walls. Familiar smells and noises bring a soft grin of satisfaction. Dignity and a listening ear are offered here as well. Too good to be true, you ask? Not really - if our role at home is patterned by God's word. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2: 10 "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3: 17
