Psalm 37: 18, 23, "The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever.......The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way."
We often wonder about what legacy our life will leave behind and will it make an eternal difference. My life has been covered and surrounded by the prayers of many family members. It is my honor to have in my possession the Bible of my Great-Great Grandmother on my Mom's side of the family. What a treasure, a visual reminder of my Christian roots. In addition to my Mother's faithful prayers, she has two sisters still living, who pray for me and my family every night. One amazing aspect of this offering of prayer by my precious aunts and uncle, is that they have been praying for me daily for decades. That is a lot of sacrificial prayer. My Aunt Betty is ninety; Aunt Gail and Uncle Palmer are eighty-two years of age. What a legacy they have left for me! And, I am sure that He delights in their way.
