If Ever I Loved Thee, Lord Jesus 'Tis Now, is such a dear hymn to my heart. Every time I sing this song I realize anew just how much my love has grown as I've journeyed through my years. How many times I have leaned upon the Lord for stamina and strength! Days of overwhelming joy and thankfulness drive me to praise.Discovering the depth of God's guidance produces wonderment. His comfort is an amazing mystery. When my mind is weary, spending time reading the scriptures gives me rest. The secular philosophies embraced by many are so empty. Knowing the Lord and His Word have filled my cup of need over and over again. How could I not grow in my adoration!
