Here I sit, stunned by the changed views of people throughout the nation. Social norms have evolved morally and behaviorally. Folks are comfortable with their decisions
and actions so that I don’t even recognize many in the church communities and
workplace. The average family life no longer resembles my childhood memories. Acquaintances
have accepted and adapted to the new norms without question.
But while I was reading the Gospel of Luke today
the ever-faithful voice of God reminded me that circumstances modify, mankind
changes and people fail but the Trinity never changes. God and His attributes are unchanging. The redemption offered by His Son’s death and
resurrection is unfailing. And thankfully, the Holy Spirit is continually
comforting and convicting.
